    The Trent Canal located in front of Liftlock Bed and Breakfast is dammed by the Trent Severn Waterway shortly after Thanksgiving. This piece of waterway is the first to freeze and the last to thaw. This creates a long lasting frozen playground, suitable for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, walking , snowmobiles and recreation vehicles.

    For those who like to toboggan, Armour Hill is nearby.
